Emerald Legacy is a fan-driven strategic expandable card game where samurai clans vie for supremacy.
Players assume leadership of one of the seven great clans and compete with their peers on the battlefield and in the courts. They must marshal their forces with limited resources, and balance upholding their clan’s honor against the need to surprise their opponents with unexpected strategems. Victory will go to the first to conquer their opponent’s stronghold, prove their clan’s irreproachable glory, or see their rival irredeemably disgraced.
This product contains enough cards for two players to build complete decks. Included are cards representing each clan’s stronghold and provinces, besides characters to recruit to their side: fearless bushi, sophisticated courtiers, even covert shinobi, or priests favored by the sprits. The outcome of conflicts will hinge on dramatic events, specialized techniques, elegant weapons and mighty spells, as the players seek to master the power of the five elemental rings.
